Bisalloy® Armour HTA 400 steel
MATERIAL
A quenched and tempered steel armour plate, possessing very good weldability, which is suitable for use in both military and civil applications where high rates of shock loading and resistance to penetration by ballistic projectiles are required.
Chemical analyses are taken on a per-heat basis. Bisalloy® Armour HTA 400 steel has a hardness range of 370 – 430 HBW with a nominal hardness of 400 HBW.
